School classroom

The classrooms are bright and airy. The furniture and decor of each classroom at Cambridge Public School has been designed for different student groups to facilitate improved teaching and learning. No section has more than 30 students. All the classrooms have individual lockers for each child to keep their books and stationery.

A view of - school library :-

The school has well enquired library. Sufficient number of books, Periodicals, News popers and Maganizes are provided to help students, cultivate reading habit and become up-to date in respect of current information and knowledge.

Computer Labs :-

Computer labs offer a lot of scope for all children to acquire hands-on-training. We have big labs for our students. Every child will have a computer to learn and explore.

Laboratories :-

The school has three spacious and modern well enquired Science laboratories for first hand learning.

Mathematical Lab :-

One learns better if one learns by practically doing things. The schools has a very good maths lab-equipped with all practical materials and instruments.

Morning Assembly :-

To inculcate moral values in the students, the school starts each working day with morning assembly with recitation of devotional song, pledge to nation and society, national anthem and thought for the day. Stress is laid on eternal values of Indian culture. G.K. questions are asked and short talks are given by the students and teachers on variety of current and burning topics.

Conveyance :-

The school has a fleet of ten well maintained buses that ensure the safe travel of the children from far flung area of the city.

Sports :-

Indoor and outdoor game materials are available. Students are encouraged to play games either indoor or outdoor since it has become integral part of education under CCE system and National Educational Policy-2020.

Attendance

  • 85% attendance is essential.
  • No leave is granted except on prior application from parents/ guardians on genuine ground.
  • In case of sickness a medical certificate from registered medical practitioner has to be submitted.
  • Repeated absence without leave for six consecutive days renders a student liable to have his name struck off the rolles.
  • It is compulsory for a student to attend the school on the first and last day after summer vacation.
